    Default drawing ilda files?

Ok my laser is on the blink or I would try and figure this out myself.

Ok I want to start drawing lots of files and making animations. If I draw lets say...Snoopy in adobe illustrator using a black background, can I just draw him out using rgb colors? Do I then connect the visable lines with black lines (blanking)??
Then save as svg file and use Ild Sos to convert??

Is it that simple?? If it is I will be cranking out a ton of free art work.

you don't have to draw blanking lines. i've had good success making line art in photoshop, then importing into inkscape for svg conversion and doing the svg to ilda conversion with ildsos.

i've also had good luck rendering jpg frame sequences, batch converting them to svg, and turning them into ilda animation sequences with ildsos.

i used that technique for the graphics in this show:

here's a thread i started a while ago about my process:

suppose you're thinkin' about a plate o' shrimp. Suddenly someone'll say, like, plate, or shrimp, or plate o' shrimp out of the blue, no explanation. No point in lookin' for one, either. It's all part of a cosmic unconciousness.
