    Default 473nm, anything worth now?

    I was wondering if 473nm's are worth anything nowadays (50mw, 350mw, ...).
I replace low power 473nm's from time to time with a higher power 450nm.

Myself I love the color. I would even like to combine 473 and 450 (beam splitter?) and put it in a wide gamut projector.

I am sure some will be interested in lower power 473nM for satellite or home "programming" projector builds. Analog modulation obviously.

Post up for sale posts when they come up, you might be surprised.

well, 405, 445, 473, 532, 637 and 660 all in one low power projector would make for some interesting colours

And as dnar said, do post these items, people are always interested. heck, people are still interested in those gas beasts of the past (pun intented )

Gassed rules the past!!! But I'm also looking for very early examples of a 405nm pointer and a 473nm lab laser to add to the Vintage Laser Archive.

I have a 250mw 473 pbs'd with my 1.2 watt 445...love it. My next projector I will likely do the same thing.

I love ion lasers and 473nm as it isn't violet like 445nm... that being said I also want 405nm added in... 488nm is still my favorite. That all being said I am still using a 10-30?mW 473 in my lumia rig to be replaced with a 200mW as soon as I get off my lazy bones.

Laser (the acronym derived from Light Amplification by Stimulated Emissions of Radiation) is a spectacular manifestation of this process. It is a source which emits a kind of light of unrivaled purity and intensity not found in any of the previously known sources of radiation. - Lasers & Non-Linear Optics, B.B. Laud.
