You are using Bonetti's defense against me, ah?
I thought it fitting, considering the rocky terrain.
Ok Norty303, your right it nearly christmas, and i have to be honest i followed your topic because it was interesting.![]()
Yeah but i think Edison has to apoligise , he talks about me a way i don't like.
I never talk bad about others in threads and it looks like he's always complaining and having frustrations on the forum.
Almost all threads that i've read with problems he's involved and It's never his fault right ?
I've had it with him right now
norty when i get to my laptop later ill post some pics and info on some modules ive recently done.
Ernst can let you know what they are like out in the field, as he has purchased a number from me

norty, if you want 600/700mw of 638nm then check these diodes: opnext HL63603TG
Single modes, 120mw.
I think to be honest a number probably have simlar feelings about him. I for one was quite vocal about his intentions to use the forum members to fund the development of his products right at the start, and I think that fact alone would probably prevent me from buying from him, despite really liking some of his stuff.I never talk bad about others in threads and it looks like he's always complaining and having frustrations on the forum.

But I think I would hate myself inside if I did, for being a hypocrite. That said, I think he provides a service I don't need (the support, over engineering, etc) and so I may not end up finding him the most suitable supplier anyway. And given the DIY nature of the forum, perhaps that is why he doesn't sell as much here as he'd like, and why some of it may bubble up in frustrations and dialogue like what went on previously. Either way, he is free to do it his way, and others are free to buy into it or not, depending on whether the product fits their needs.
Ok, cheers Andy, be interesting to see them. Were they 637 and 445 combined?norty when i get to my laptop later ill post some pics and info on some modules ive recently done.

Ok lets comment on this
The case i designed is a split level design that is used by many others that is true but you never designed a similar split level design case by yourself. You measured the complete case and even asked where to buy the struth profiles so you can build it exactly like i did. I think that s called copying.
Buying a CNI directly ALWAYS is cheaper then buying from a dealer. The more expencive price is because you get service included when it need refurbishment or replacement so yes 1350 is higher then the price buying directly from CNI. Buying a washing machine from a Brand like Miele is more expencive but you have better service and it last longer. I think i have made my point clear.
Talking about friend, while we are building the projectors back then you made Clear to me that Mccarrot was an ass because i could deliver dichro,s and mounts and what not cheaper then him. Also you complaint back then that he didn,t want to help you. And because you need red you now back with him because he can help you with building redsMmm we have a word for that.......
Red is expencive we all know that but if that is the way to get things i think i will pass.
About the cases from Mister willing the cases where cheaper but when you found out that they where lower in height ( it was my older design (drawings traded for retainers that i neededyou complaint that they suck because it was impractical to fit in the ildaboard from Rob for example and there where parts missing.
I offered you mine but you didn,t want to have them, again because they where to expencive.
I offer service also on the blue modules since they come with 1 year warrenty and 2 years of service. I can check my mailbox but i,m pretty sure i haven,t recieved any information that they needed some kind of service.Always welcome as a customer
Regarding the Vat thing i ALWAYS charge vat because i need to pay Vat as a company. The only options is to avoid paying Vat is buying excl vat from outside the netherlands, buying modules on Prolight and sound with a wallet full of cash like you did.
If people order a red 660nm module then yes i offer a replacement service when going 637nm
4100 euro for 4 modules doing 1 watt of red 660 isn,t that much when comparing it with Kvant:
http://www.synchrovision.co.uk/produ...r-module-kvant
So i think this is reasonable
From calculation the Cost that we have from our the invoices we have calculated a total cost of 3150 for 1 projector with 1 watt green (doing 1,4 watt ) and 2 watt blue ) So 3 watt blue green projectors completely build with 1 year warrent and 2 years of service. I don,t think that its that expencive.
The hours spend on building is about 4 days of 10 hours since you came early and left arround 22.00 at night everytime you visted. Ok maybe i could have spend less time on the builds but i had someone next to me that wanted to know all the ins and outs so he could learn from it. I also like to show people how i do things because then people understand the difference between when they go with my stuff or with me.
Doing it yourself is cheaper but you have to learn things first and i think i teached you well when it comes to building projectors. In the end its about money and how much you want to give to someone who do things for you.
Personally i don,t think 6300 inc vat is to much for 3 watt GB projectors build in the netherlands with the service you get.![]()

Edison, I will say that regardless of what people charge, people will always think they are paying too much for labour. Eastern manufacturing and people's desire for ever cheaper goods drives that. I have been asked to build projectors for people and I always turn it down as I could never do it for a reasonable price. The hours are just too many, especially when the East seem to be able to supply projectors for less than the component costs. So you don't need to defend your labour rates in my opinion.

@norty:
I do have quite a honest and upfronth personallity. So yes i say things exacly how they are Not all people want to hear the uncovered thruth. You have made your point of view clear to me and i appreciate that rather then some kissing ass only because they can have access to laser related things that i can offer. So that is cool:
In the past i developed kits so that people had the possibillity to build their own module. I,m the first one to admit that they could be improved but lack of appreciation like they where to expencive and so on made me to stop selling them. So after 2 years we still have no solution for the reds and so once in a while we see a thread posted like this: what is the best solution for red? In every company a huge amount of money from selling products is being used for development. I,m just saying that if someone asks to me why can,t you deliver bigger reds then my usual answer would be because you didn,t buy my modules. Its not that i demand someone to buy something from me just displaying that it works that way. I hope that they say, you have a point and i have seen your quality and the progress that you make so lets go ahead and i will buy a projector from you even its more expenciveSo people that has an intention to stay with doing lasershows professionally usually don,t have a problem with my point of view and they are happy to buy stuff because they know that i,m here to stay as well.
Its all about what budget you have and which way you want to go to reach to a level that you are satisfied with. I,m really picky when it comes to stabillity in allignment and divergence so i want the best of the best. The development proces to reach that kind of perfection is long and also quite lonely. I have started more then 2 years and i,m continuing to do so until i have my own modules that can be mass produced. I have 43 modules in stock and i can builld modules as much as i want where others complaining that there is still not a good solution for red. I,m pretty close to build bigger units so its already in my signature so i think i do something right.
For all those people that wants to have bennefit of the developments i,m doing i would say send me a Pm and lets get to know eachother.
In real live will be at The UKLEM and in the next LEM in Ilpendam![]()
