Default Hong Kong synphony of lights

    Hi guys,
I'm 4mins away from watching the Hong Kong Syphony of lights show.

The air has a nice bit of fog too.

The best part is I'm standing here with my girlfriend talking laser talk and I'm not getting in trouble!

Oh! I just got the, "quit it nerd" look from her

Well I better shut up and get ready to enjoy the show.

    Cheers
    Kit

And have a fun new year

    Hi Troy

    Thanks mate!

Some pretty impressive networking with all the lasers, LED matrixes on the buildings and music.

Being from Sydney you are a bit more used to seeing this sort of thing.

Lil old Perth doesn't have many blinky blinky flashing things. Ha! I'll fix that

We went up the 4/5th tallest building in the world,493m. Awsome view!

There are 7800 friggin sky scrapers here! Crikey

On the subway now after "walking" about 1.5km on underground travelators... Yeah baby, I'm loving it. Walking is for chumps! Why walk when the ground can walk for you ? Ha! Suckers

I got to play with the stella ray back in 1999/2000 when I worked at LaserVision doing the Darling Harbor shows. All I knew is it came from the US and was rebranded. We road a boat around the harbor with large coffee can sized smoke bombs showing off for the Olympic Bid with the yag above us on the bridge with duel sabres and water screens. The first version of the HK show was just getting shipped out with the duel yags in the Merlins head.

Laservison is an odd laser company....lobo but with cars on blocks in the yard.

Wow! sounds like you were really in the thick of the action! those projects would have been a real buzz to have been involved with.

Ha! cars on blocks! least they had their priorities right....save the money for the lasers

Good to see people with vision, a city willing to put on a show of that scale and people with the skills to make it happen
