£35 is fine with me, and I'm happy to pay if it goes ahead or not, got to support these things or they stop happening!

How much is the deposit?

OK, many thanks to those who have replied here and those who have contacted me by email or PM.

It would seem that we now (marginally) have enough support to enable the event to go ahead. It may be that the cost per head will be a bit higher than usual, but in a worst case scenario, even with only 8 attending it won't exceed £37.50 per head (£300 / 8 = £37.50), it would seem that this is acceptable to those (whom i've contacted) that have already confirmed attendance. I really don't want to cancel the ShowLEM, so it's onwards and upwards from here folks . Deposit is only £50 so it's quite manageable, the booking form will be completed this weekend and the deposit paid.

Incidentally, it sounds as though there's a good chance that we may be able to run a couple of short 'seminars' in the conference room upstairs. More on this later once a few details have been sorted out

Again, many thanks to those who have confirmed their support. I don't want anyone who can't make it to feel bad either. Times are hard and family comes first, I understand that completely.

Sorry i have not logged in since before xmas and only just seen this thread , as you know i love this event and promised to myself with just a mere 4 hours drive in great summer weather to be at every event

However as luck would have it , the only weekend available is the end of the school year in scotland , and my daughter will be returning from a school trip to france , as you can imagine i need to be here , so currently my chances of attending are @zero@ , if that changes i ill update you

No worries Paul, I completely understand. Family must always come first and I know you'd be there if you were able.

Your support of the LEM's is legendary despite probably having the furthest to travel.

We're hoping to be able to live stream the event, so you can always get a photon fix via the net
