We should start to consider a black list for people who opt into a GB then change there mind once the payments start to be taken because it is not fair on the paying members of a GB.

Anyway, It is fine, I am talking often with the supplier and now even speaking to get a smaller batch sent out to ensure the serious members get the diodes.

The tests DTR are doing are looking good with over 100mW coming from the diode already.

    Hey Andy,

Have you PM'd the folks who put their name down but have not yet paid? Might just take a "kick in the arse" to get these people moving. Should be able to do it with a single message to multiple users, so I can't see this as time consuming.

I appreciate you working closely with the supplier to get a smaller batch going.

    Cheers

    Thanks

Guess some of the guys which don't pay are waiting for the diodes going down in $$$. Don't care if I do get a $130 dollar diode for $120 or $140.

So, all of you count into this "GB" please please pay or tell us you're no longer interested.

    Thx,
    -mo-

p.s. thanks a lot to Andy to be the volunteer of this GB and for all the effort so far.

So the GB closes tomorrow. Is there anybody who feels we should postpone the deadline another 2 weeks ??
Personally I don't think we are not gonna make another 39 pieces if we postpone the deadline another two weeks

I am not in a rush so extending the deadline if fine buy me. However, I'm puzzled to why so many people seem to have gone cold. Is there something we don't know? maybe another source or speculation of lower prices? If so, please let us know or at least Andy, as he has put in some considerable effort so far.

If it's because people are waiting for a lower price, it's probaly only going to save you the cost of a beer and a burger.
If it's because things are a bit tight until next pay day, that's fine, just let us know.

    Thanks for your efforts Andy

    Cheers
    Kit

    have same opinion as -bart-

if some of us haven't sent the money so far they won't do it in another two weeks.

There has been little or no new interest in over a week. I see no reason to wait much longer.
