    Hey, I just removed some 40 year old copper tanks. We had to cut them up in the cupboard to get them out the door.
    I used the skill saw with the blade that kitatit recommended . It worked a treat. I used a 2000watt makita skill saw.
    The tanks where 5mm thick. Thinking about using some off the copper in my laser. I used a full face mask as the chunks coming off the saw are quite large.

    Nice work! sounds like you kicked that copper tanks ass

    Yeesh 5mm thick! They definitely don't make things like they used to.

    There is some serious beer money in scrap even if you don't use much for your laser.
