Sweeeeet! The new card is amazing compaired to the old card. Shows load up so much faster and all the new features are great! Congrats on the big upgrade! By the way, you should check out some of the new shows, especially "Revelation" which is amazing!

No its not as good as the dac0832, it doesn't support blanking and can only do about 500pps

LOL! I think it can do just a bit more than 500pps, just a bit more though, say around 120,000pps!!

DAMN, that thing has dedicated RAM...
Yep, that is part of what makes the QM such a great package. All the processing is done by the card, frames and shows are loaded into the card's memory and run from there. So after you press play, if your computer freezes, chances are the show will continue running. If you look closely at the card, it also has an IDE connector for a CDROM!

    playing asteroids...?
Ha! You any good at asteroids? If I make it to Orlando in Jan. I'll challenge you to a round! The screen can be as big as your laser projector can make it!

By the way, cruch, if you some how get the Kryptonite demo show to sync to the song properly, let me know how you did it... I've had no luck and I'm certain I purchased the proper CD.

I have an LD2000 Pro also, just got it in july. Love it!! Even if you OS hangs, or crashes (which mine did becuase of video card, now I upgraded to XP no issues) the show still runs as if there is nothing wrong with the computer. And oh yeah Asteroids is cool, maybe some more classics may popup!! And Oh yeah Live pro is smooth, especially when you sync it with winamp to ANY music.

p.s. I had to send my QM32 pro card into Pangolin..
