    No one is intressted in Laser Designer Studio BASIC software?? All you need is a DAC, if you dont got one...

    There was someone on eBay selling them. I "think" it was the true seller from germany, but thier site didn't return my email. I got mine fairly cheap also. Too bad it doesn't work with my DAC. ops: What DAC do you have?

    Easy and stable software to use.
    And I did use the Easylase dac. Works great together..

    Jian mentioned the same thing to me when he was testing his DT-40 galvos a while back. He found that they would get hot when displaying certain frames at max speed when he used Mamba Black, but when he displayed the same frames at the same speed using LDS the galvos stayed cool. He explained that the LDS software has some kind of "smoothing" algorithm that cleans up the signal before it gets sent to the DAC.

    Still, it's pretty expensive software. I think at that price I'd hold out for Pangolin. (Especially after we discovered the sample jitter problem with the EasyLase USB DAC...) But that's just me.
