Getting a laser in to India

Hi peeps.
I've been trying to figure out how to get a laser to India for the past 2 months.
So far it's all a bit wishy washy.
Basically anything is possible, but you have to wave your wonga. And I don't have much wonga.

Indians hate imports...
Are there any import export experts out there who have any pointers (not hand held ones)

We've got an in-India Client that should be able to guide you... And, their Co. is large-enough that, no, I don't think he'll 'try and sell you something' vs helping you import But, he is somewhat 'slow to respond' sometimes, so.. If you don't hear-back, in a week or so, give him another 'bump'.. Tell him that I 'sent you to him, specifically', for the help / advice.. but, you might have to 'bump' 3x or so..
