I can post some pics next year. But I have to say that the service I got from Rumzing has been the best ever, even when compared to western companies. If you email them, say hello from the Finnish guy.

Have you compared their beam specifications?

Rumzing specs for 300mW 473nm laser:

    Divergence <0.8mrad
    Beam diameter <1.5mm
    Modulation 15kHz analog

    CNI:

    Divergence <2.0mrad
    Beam diameter ~3.0mm
    Modulation 10kHz analog

They actually claimed to have made some improvements for my 532nm DPSS for stability and higher analog modulation frequency. Beam quality is very nice.

    Hmm..

The pics on the website www.rumzing.com remind me of my old lambda-pro lasers....

So I went over to www.lambdapro.com for a visit and low and behold, similar laser powers, and they physically look identical.

I wonder who actually makes these... I'd be inclined to say Lambdapro...

    When we talk about lasers..

Dont USA produce any lasers ? (Blue dpss)

From all lasers I ever have tryed, the maxys from US is the best...
And I know what ever chinese dude we find that make blue dpss and green\red..
they still are from china...

We do have lots of great domestic manufacturers... they just cost $15k new for the $500 chinese equivalent

Let's see... Melles Griot, Coherent, SpectraPhysics, etc ... I agree on Max's reds, best bang per buck.

[edit] PS. Just realized that statement could be construed as fightin' words.... so before the laser vanguard jumps in to defend the big vendors by listing beam profiles and TEM modes or whatnat, we do all know the $15k lasers are better And I would also love to have a MIRACL system in my backyard and do an aurora based lighting show (at the expense of the ozone layer of course, but we all have to make sacrifices somewhere)
