    Default We are so privacy-screwed..

...like we already aren't rights-screwed-enough in this country... http://news.yahoo.com/drones-large-s...010537668.html ..drone swarms?? sheesh, 1984, anyone?

...still, the 'tech' is cool / fascinating, and of course, one can see many 'benevolent' / brilliant / helpful uses for these (exerior wear / damage-inspections / search-rescue, etc, etc..) but... we all know how-quickly a 'well-intentioned idea' gets turned into a wholly-unwelcome 'anal-probe' around here.. (ie: 'TSA'..)

..also, a good hearty 'Googlol'.. http://news.yahoo.com/blogs/trending...200641774.html

why is that? remember that balloon poping video where laser detected and popped balloons? or another one would be a 4W blue monster mosquito killer that my friend built for fun - seek-n-destroy - in this case CCD chips of tracked cameras with a bright light

Just remember, Atlas doesn't die when he decides to put down the ball; it's everyone else. It's a pity they don't hear the warning bells.

Jon, come up with 20K for four patents and we'll go patent some very cheap and usable passive countermeasures for home windows.

We can call our company Spy vs Spy...

Right now there is one serious legal battle over hunters shooting down a drone used by enviromentalists to disrupt a dove hunt on private property. The hunters were charged for shooting it down.

    I'll go google the results.

The guys who shot the drone are cleared. The anti-hunting group has "allegedly" had its drone blown from the sky four times in two states. No one has went to jail for it. Given the publicity seeking tactics of the group, its not a good reference case. Evidently the large "Octocopter" drone makes it home to its owner every time, which has resulted in suggestions by some that the damage does not occur in the air....

The patents and the patents war are never going to end. Same business can end up having almost same idea so what's the question in patenting your idea????
Want your precious idea to be patented, then patent attorney can provide you the right guidance because your invention is not one day invention its yours years of hard work.

the drone shooters should be charged with discharge of a weapon into the air...maybe they were listening to joe biden. The bullet does have to come down somewhere...it is irresponsible to discharge a weapon into the air...the pigeon shoot is cruel and teaches their children that killing animals for fun is acceptable...anyway...whatever.
