Question Where to Buy New <1.5w RGB X-Laser

This may have been asked before but I would like an up to date response..

I am looking into buying the 2012(latest) model of the X-Laser Skywriter series. (or a comparable model similar in price and could be used as an animation laser)
I was wondering what site would be a reliable place to buy one? I am especially concerned that they know what they are talking about as i need the latest model...

(though this may be obvious I need a ILDA port on it, RGB, at least 750mw and 30kpps or greater galvos)

Also I know there are several models for the RGB sky writer series and which would be the best bang for the buck?

    Thanks!!

Thanks, they came up once before I think when I was searching.
Have you had any experience with this company?

    Hi -

CT Lasers would be a great place to pick up an X-Laser. Marc is a great guy and knows the business very well. He is also very active both on this forum and in ILDA.

I would suggest per the above that you get a 2012 series Skywriter 750RGB. It will meet your specs, has the best price point and is an all around good performer. Marc can certainly help you out with that and please let us know if you have any questions. dan@x-laser.com.

    Thanks!

I would imagine that you know it doesn't work that way, but thanks for keeping it classy.

I own 2 Skywriters 2010 models with 15K galvos RGY and I just bought an RGB Nocturne off eBay. I emailed Warren at X-Laser to help me find out what was in the Nocturne and it has 50K scanners! But the power output is around 350

I can tell you from experience that X-Laser stands behind their products and with me as a novice are the biggest help in repair issues. Their turnaround is excellent. Marc from CT Lasers +1 to get them!
