    Notes:
    ------------------------------------------------------------------
The XY galvo / scanner stuff is made by a Chinese company
called Phenix Technology. Yes, these are the ones you see
all over eBay. Except this is their 'top-of-the-line' model.
Some of the other ones they make are indeed total crap. But
these seem pretty nice. Do they actually do 40k? I really have
no idea. Supposedly, they are factory set for 38k with a 20°
divergence angle. I have not turned any of the potentiometers!
The power modulation *IS analog*, not TTL like most of their
other models. So the number of colors possible should be limited
    only by your A/D <-> D/A converter.

No such 'ILDA box' or software is included!! Sorry.

Oh BTW, although not in any of the pictures, also included are
an extra set of galvo mirrors! They are identical to the ones
already installed on the galvos. I believe they are something
like 7mm x 13mm. It would not surprise me at all if the original
mirrors broke during shipping, so an extra set should prove to
    be quite handy!
    ------------------------------------------------------------------
All three lasers use identical driver modules. The output voltage
and current are adjustable for both the TEC and the laser diode.
Obviously, each one is set slightly differently. These settings
are factory set and I have not turned any of the potentiometers!
The drivers provide *ANALOG* beam modulation using a 0-5vDC input.

The drivers also require a 5 volt DC input. The blue and green
lasers combined draw approximately 8 amps of current once fully
    warmed up.

One of the nice things about these drivers is that you can use
the *same* 5vDC input for both powering the driver board *and*
powering the analog input (this will TOTALLY FRY some drivers).

Two of the driver boards have been modified so that the previous
'dual inputs' for main power are now seperate. The screw terminals
provide the main power input and the barrel connector now provides
the analog input voltage (rather than also being a main input). I
never got around to making this modification on the blue laser's
driver for some reason. But you can use either of the other two
boards as a 'template' for modifying the third (if you wish).
It should be fairly simple & straight-forward to see what I did.
The two inputs both use a common ground, so I merely 'cut' the
trace to the positive (center) lead of the barrel connector on
the underside of the circuit board and ran the original positive
input for the analog modulation to that (now cut) pin. Simple.
    ------------------------------------------------------------------
The lasers themselves are made by another Chinese company
(surprise, surprise) called Lasever. I did have some issues
with them.. mostly shipping related, as in, I never got my
lasers that I paid for. But eventually everything was resolved.
    ------------------------------------------------------------------
The GREEN laser head is the model LSR532NL—150.

    Tech Specs:

    Wavelength : 532nm
    Output Power 240mW
    Residual IR Output (808nm/1064nm): <0.1%
    Divergence : 0.97mRad
    Beam Diameter : 1.94mm
    Operating Mode: CW/Modulated
    Transverse Mode: TEM00
    Modulation: ANALOG
    ------------------------------------------------------------------
The BLUE laser head is the model LSR473NL—150.

    Tech Specs:

    Wavelength : 473nm
    Output Power 180mW
    Residual IR Output (808nm/1064nm): <0.1%
    Divergence : 0.5mRad
    Beam Diameter : 2.02mm
    Operating Mode: CW/Modulated
    Transverse Mode: TEM00
    Modulation: ANALOG
    ------------------------------------------------------------------
The RED laser is the model LSR635NL—150.

This *used to be* a 260 mW laser. But it had *horrible* beam
output specs. I got so angry with it that I literally tore all
the 'guts' out of the laser head. So now it is a 'build your own
red laser' project. Yay! The driver and the DB-9 power cable are
included along with the empty laser head. Add your own TEC, diode,
    and optics.
    ------------------------------------------------------------------
The green laser has approximately 20 hours of use on it. The blue
laser has less than 5 hours total use. They are both basically
brand new, just a bit dusty from sitting. The blue laser (and
    driver) are still under warranty.
    ------------------------------------------------------------------
One of the dichroic mirrors is glued to a 1" washer with epoxy-resin.
The other one is still new in the original packaging. A 2nd washer is
included in case you want to glue that one up as well. I believe they
are 15mm x 15mm, which is pretty small. They are both 'pass green'
filters where the green laser would be traveling straight through
both filters and the red and blue lasers would each be placed at 90°
angles (see photo below). These are pretty horrible dichros. They have
a lot of 'bleed through' where probably only about 75% of the red and
blue lasers are actually reflected off the front surfaces even at the
ideal 45° angle of incidence. The other 25% of the beam travels straight
through the filter and gets wasted by hitting your wall, bookshelf, cat,
etc. I cannot say that I recommend using these in an actual production
enviornment, but they could be useful for experimentation purposes.
Ideally, you would want to install actual 1" round dichros into the
Newport MM2-1A mounts (some nice ones with >98% reflectivity).
    ------------------------------------------------------------------
So, how much do I want for this stuff? Well, here is what *I* paid:

    $850 - (1) Sorensen DLM 5-75 power supply (5vDC @ 75 amps max.)
    ---------------
    $100 - (2) Thorlabs 12" x 10" x 1/4 optical breadboards
    $40 - (4) 4" long stainless steel support rods (1.5" diameter)
    $8 - (16) 1/4"-20 hex head screws (8 holding the posts + 8 extra)
    $60 - (3) Newport MM2-1A XY kinematic mounts for 1" round optics
    ---------------
    $240 - (1) green laser w/ driver
    $390 - (1) blue laser w/ driver
    $260 - (1) red laser w/ driver
    $20 - (1) generic Chinese power supply (5vDC @ 7 amps max.)
    ---------------
$30 - (2) really small, really crappy dichroic mirrors from eBay
    $300 - (1) Galvo / scanner system - Includes:
    - (2) 40kpps galvanometers w/ aluminum block mount
    - (2) scanner amps
    - (1) +/- 24vDC power supply
    - (1) 'laser show card' w/ ILDA connectors, DMX connectors,
microphone input w/ adjustable level, etc. etc. etc.
    ------------------------------------------------------------------
That's a total investment of $2,298. Ideally, I would like to
make 35% to 40% of that back. I think that is a realistic goal.

Notice how I have 'grouped' the items together. This is how I
would prefer to sell them, but I will consider splitting groups
(like the lasers) if somebody really wants just one certain thing.

Obviously, the Sorensen power supply is a 'big-ticket item'.
I *really* hate to see it go and I will probably regret the
decision later, but right now having money is more important
than having fun laser toys. I have to stand firm at $300 plus
    shipping on this item.

The 'breadboard group' I will let go for $75 + shipping. Please
note that this package will be HEAVY. So don't be surprised if
shipping is almost as much as the items themselves! I would never
rip anybody off on shipping though. You will pay whatever the actual
    shipping price is.

The 'laser group' I will list at $350 + shipping. Although the red
laser head is missing its internal components, you are more-or-less
getting a complete laser head body with power cable and driver module,
so its still worth something. And besides, the blue and green lasers
alone are really a steal at this price!

The 'galvo / scanner group' I will ask $150 + shipping. Yes, this is
a bit higher than my previously stated 40% return rate (for those with
their calculators out), but this group will also be the hardest to package
since there are so many delicate, individual components. So that means
scrounging for packaging materials, boxes, etc. which takes time.
This is still *way* cheaper than what you would pay on eBay.

If you want to purchase EVERYTHING, its yours for $800 + shipping..
an additional savings of $75. Yay!

P.S. - Sorry this post is so ridiculously long!!

yeah. there's totally a good deal to be had here.

i have no laser budget right now, or else i'd scoop up the package and build a very nice system from these parts.
suppose you're thinkin' about a plate o' shrimp. Suddenly someone'll say, like, plate, or shrimp, or plate o' shrimp out of the blue, no explanation. No point in lookin' for one, either. It's all part of a cosmic unconciousness.

I guess I should have included my location, huh? Oopsy.
I live just outside of Savannah, Georgia (USA). The zip
code is 31316 if you would like to guesstimate your own
    shipping costs.

Hmm, I'm interested in the breadboard group, too, in the case Bradfo69 comes to his senses.

Those galvos are looking pretty good.

USPS Large Flat Rate Priority Mail "It Fit's It Ships", should be a friend here at about $18 if I recall.
