Would DPSS modulation be a problem with most of our beamshows?
90% if not more would be beamshow, the other 5 till 10% would be graphics and animation shows.
Most of you are using them (green) already for years in your projectors.
I think there will be a serious market for these modules.

this is true for most of the beamshows but it wouldn't make for such pretty abstracts in LSX

Ok, I see that some of you are bit jealous so here we are, results measured in lab:

    Model: RLM-400 (RED)
    Optical power (mW) >400
    Center wavelength (nm) 639
Center wavelength tolerance (nm) ± 1
Beam waist diameter D86 (mm, 86% of beam power) ~ 2.3
Beam waist diameter D95 (mm, 95% of beam power) ~ 2.8
Beam waist diameter FWHM (mm, 50% of beam power) ~ 1.4
Beam divergence (half angle, mrad) ~ 0.17
    Linear polarization Y
    M2 (horizontal/vertical) < 1.1

    Model: OLM-200 (ORANGE)
    Optical power (mW) >200
    Center wavelength (nm) 607
Center wavelength tolerance (nm) ± 1
Beam waist diameter D86 (mm, 86% of beam power) ~ 2.6
Beam waist diameter D95 (mm, 95% of beam power) ~ 3.2
Beam waist diameter FWHM (mm, 50% of beam power) ~ 1.5
Beam divergence (half angle, mrad) ~ 0.16
    Linear polarization Y
    M2 (horizontal/vertical) < 1.1

It hasn,t got anything to do with jealous. Having a multimillion company behind you and just resell their products is easy. Just because your friend with navara its not nessesary to be arrogant. I went 3 years ago to your booth on prolight and was seriously interested in your modules for my projectors and your answer was this: Your just a hobbyist here,s a pricelist and walked away as if i was some kind of low life creature.

So if hobbyist are not important to you why posting on a hobbyist forum? Like chad said:

    Hey Martin,

Because all you really do here is use this board as a space for advertisement how about you donate some money.

Ps, be prepared for a suprise this year on Prolight.

Sorry all for going off topic but why is it that when Edison joins a topic it always goes this way?

Because someone has to display the facts and keep things in perspective. The fact is that Martin says that people are jealous and is arrogant towards hobbyists He is a sales person that didn,t develop anything by his own hand. I call that shoving boxes. Buy something and sell it for more. Nothing to be arrogant for. Look at Rob stanwax, he worked litterly his Ass of to build up his company and develop all those great products.

He isn,t arrogant at all about this.In fact he is just proud and quite humble. I just don,t like the attitude of Martin towards hobbyist and the fact that he thinks that everyone here is jealous.

Some people may not like the attitude that i have and maybe disagree with me on certain subjects or have a different opinion but that,s fine i can live with that.

Rob stanwax, DZ, Chad, and many others on this Great forum developed something of their own. I worked 3 years on only the development of my modules and Rob worked constantly on his products. For everyone that sat down designed ,manufactured, developed or did anything to make things available in this wonderfull hobby or at least tried i thank you all

Strange choice of words. And an even more curious attitude. If you wish to sell a product then you would do well to be less aggressive. I am looking for a new challenge and I wonder if it would be worth building a module just for the purpose of comparing it to a Kavant module. I think that could be a lot of fun. Edison?

I think with the skills you have it can be done quite easily planters. The multimode setup that you build was better in specs as me and i compared mine with a Kvant with the help from KGB. The multimode that i have is doing 30mm at 26 and 4.5mm at aperture and the kvant single mode 1 watt did 3mm at aperture and 27mm on the same distance. Yours was better in specs so i think you have already done it

I'm all for planters becoming the US equivalent of Kvant.
