(Just a little something for your spare time Eric!)
suppose you're thinkin' about a plate o' shrimp. Suddenly someone'll say, like, plate, or shrimp, or plate o' shrimp out of the blue, no explanation. No point in lookin' for one, either. It's all part of a cosmic unconciousness.

Thumbs up Hell Yeah! There's an idea I can get behind!

    I second that idea!

Based on what I've seen on Youtube alone, I know I'd be just as pleased with a red module from Eric as I would with one from Kvant. (In fact, I might actually be more pleased with one from Eric... I remember Flecom's nightmare with his Kvant 642 nm red!)

So what do you say, Eric? Got any plans to go into the module manufacturing business? Looks like you've already got some customers lined up...

I agree when it is deserved.

The multimode setup that you build was better in specs as me and i compared mine with a Kvant with the help from KGB
Yours was better in specs so i think you have already done it
Sun Tzu says "don't fight unless you have already won",
I know. The published beam specs are good, but not unbeatable.

don't forget you have to supply also the quantities in such quality, good luck
This is actually the easy part. Members like chad and a few others with CNC capabilities could turn out dozens of sub-components and sexy enclosures. I know this. I have seen their work. Everything I have built and developed has been on my dime and for interest only. If I could recap some of the cost and obtain the assistance of some of the members here not to mention take advantage of some of the savings that begin to occur at the 10 and 100 piece thresholds then, well...

    Hey Planters.

Yup, the UK is 20% VAT...
But not as bad as some other European nations. VAT in Europe seems to vary from 18% to around 22% depending on which country you buy in...
I also have a significant advantage ( at least for now, lament) that in the States, there is no added VAT.

No. I am not jealous. I have not yet worked with Pr3+, but this would be interesting. I am working with DPSS and obviously I have built straight diode modules.

    I'd buy with 100% confidence.

Good idea. Kvant could use a good competitor in the US. Need to look into it some more. But difficult country with allot of regulations. No vat though

The "jealous" was nothing against hobbyists for god sake! It is just that there are certain individuals who seem to get ALWAYS upset when we release something different and interesting. Maybe I should of direct my words more specifically. Anyway, it looks like it bothers you little bit too

I don't think I mentioned anywhere in this thread that we are the best in the world - just showing some options to people.

And yes, it is true. I have never worked on a module development (I did put work into other things like our laser housings), but some people develop, some people sell and some people just create bad atmosphere. The fact that you can design and built laser module doesn't necessary mean your are good in everything...or you might be - I don't care really.
You clearly do a good job in what you do and good luck with it, but as you say, you are not multimillion business where things work slightly different - and this is not offence at all.

    Leaving this thread.
    Cheers
