Yup. Unfortunately, I don't have schematics for that PSU. You might be able to get some help from "Weak_Station"; he logs in from time to time and is pretty familar with those small argon PSU's. Sam's Laser FAQ might have some useful info as well. But apart from that, you're probably going to be stuck troubleshooting it blind...

    Cool

There are two separate sets of pins that need to be jumped. So that makes 4 pins total. Have a look at the picture from my gallery above. It shows a 263 series PSU, but the remote connector pinouts are identical between the 261's and the 263's.

From your picture I have the bottom 2 pins jumped,
this supply does not have the other set of pins that your picture shows jumped?

Hmmm... That is strange. On mine they both need to be shorted or the thing won't light. I can't remember off the top of my head which ones are which, but if I pull either one of the jumpers, the tube won't start. I've never seen one like yours where those pins are missing like that though.

No signs of pins being inserted in the blank positions.

    Cool

Don't know what the -460 denotes. Maybe something special?

I've had 4 of these lasers, and they've all been interchangeable with regard to heads and PSU's. Still, maybe you've got something unique there.

If you don't have those pins on the remote connector, then maybe the problem is within the PSU itself. But it still bugs me that your connector is different like that...

It is a very clean unit

The bottom picture is the relay that does not activate,i am pretty sure this needs to trigger to get the start pulse to the igniter in the head
