I don't think they realize the group of people they are talking to.
Did you explain what we are all about and invite them to stop by and see what we do?
I think if you get to talk to the right person we will get to go.

They know exactly who they are talking to.

Remember Steve? The guy who shows up every SELEM as the venue representative and helps us out with moving tables and stuff even though he's technically only there as a babysitter? Yeah, he works at the Catawba Science Museum. The people there know all about us.

The problem is that it costs money for them to run the projectors in the dome. As with all AVI systems, the shows are leased. So when they know they won't have a lot of traffic, they don't pay the lease fees for that month. But then they can't legally run any laser shows in the planetarium.

I've e-mailed the director in past years and invited him to come to SELEM, and Steve has always gone back to his pals at the museum and told them what a great time SELEM is, but no one else ever shows up. Likewise, I've extended an offer to the employees of the Holiday Inn every year since 2009 to come join the fun as my guests, but they have never done so.

Maybe lasers aren't as big of a deal in the Newton-Conover area as they are everywhere else? I dunno, but it sure seems that way.

Last chance to have me pick up any AixiZ supplies for free delivery at SELEM--

One new item caught my eye and i WILL be bringing a few with-- rated 30mW 52O green diode module- has SMD driver inside brass - all that is needed is 3vdc- and a heatsink- saw a demo and it was very bright( should have taken my LPM with me!!)
and a shade of green that was very nice.

I am sure its overspec but how much I will not know until I get the ones I pre-ordered. Same with the pricing but I know we can count on AixiZ to give us fair prices-

My plan is to use them in a portable RGB lumia.

I am SURE these are NOT analog or maybe not even TTL- We were both in a rush.
I think they are single mode-- & TEMOO

Chuck almost forgot to show it to me.

Cant quote a price but think these will be less than 60$.

If anyone needs stuff from AixiZ now would be a good time to let me know-- Len

    Default The module i saw..

    looked a lot like this one-- 12mm X 40mm
It had a line laser lens on it so i did not see a dot -
I saw a bright line- We both had places to be so i did not ask more ATM.

AS soon as i get more info i will post it-

if there is interest I can bring a number of them with me. I did learn it required 3-5 vdc.

    perfect for battery powered lumia.

Are these dpss or di? The 520 made me think DI but $60 seemed pretty cheap if so.
