I sent in the money and made the reservation at the Holiday Inn. Unless something comes up I will see you all there either Friday or Saturday. Yo yo yo.

    Default SELEM Auditorium Schedule

I threw together a rough schedule for the shows in the auditorium for SELEM. Unlike in past events, the idea this year is to have shows running just about non-stop in the auditorium. I do want to give a bit of a warning, the shows in the auditorium will likely be VERY loud, so be sure to bring ear plugs if you don't like loud music. The schedule I've put together is open to suggestions, cancellations, modifications etc. The time where I have "open" listed is for anyone who has shows they want to run or any particular shows folks want to see.

    Friday
    10am: open/finalize setup
    11am: Pop
    12pm: Rock/Pop Mix
    1pm: David Bowie
    2pm: Smashing Pumpkins
    3pm: Beatles
    4pm: U2
    5pm: Dave Matthews

    7pm: Classic Rock
    8pm: Metallica
    9pm: Led Zeppelin
    10pm: Pink Floyd
    11pm: Pink Floyd

    Saturday
    10am: Laser Swing
    11am: Garth Brooks
    12pm: Country
    1pm: Big Beat
    2pm: Jimi Hendrix
    3pm: Van Halen
    4pm: Aerosmith
5pm to 5:15pm: ****SELEM Door Prizes****

With all the shows Mark and I have been reviewing, most could run in either the auditorium or ClubSELEM. There are a few that specifically are earmarked for the auditorium and will work in either the Friday 7pm or Saturday 9pm slots. Mark also has a song that feels should "open" SELEM so, we could consider filling the Friday 10 am slot too. Unless of course, he rethinks that option. It's not indicative of the REST of the shows but it will give a nice jaw dropping "WTF" reaction when the track plays.

Most of what we've previewed and rated are Showeditor shows so, there is a very European feel to the music and the styles. One DAC feeding a couple infamous DZ splitters with a little time to tweak the inverts and zone sizes and we should be good to roll. (It's all beams so, the Coherent can get a rest.)

Fortunately, most of your list I think I have or, know what it is you have planned so, I'll be in ClubSELEM more this year. The 7pm Van Halen on Saturday followed by Aerosmith I'm pretty much certain I'll be in the auditorium for though. I can fill any slots you end up having open but, don't want to monopolize anything or anyone else.

Saturday afternoon could be tough since 98% of us will be in the classrooms I'm sure.

"Officially" no. Unofficially... yes, food will be present. No further discussions on the matter please.

    DZ, Brad,

Wow, thanks for the efforts in getting all of this sorted out for SELEM. It's great to see 2+ days of content & discussions this year. I hate to miss anything...
