    Cool

Funny you should mention that subject...

I've often thought it would add a lot to the event if we were to invite a dance troupe or a college cheerleading team. I've never quite figured out how to approach them though. (Can you just imagine?)

"Excuse me, but we're looking for some eye-candy to spruce-up our total sausage-fest, geeks-anonymous meeting. How'd you like to be ogled by a bunch of painfully awkward, borderline-aspergers-syndrome laser nerds for 2 or 3 days? What if we had free beer.?."

Yeah, I don't think that would work out very well. But if any of you guys have other ideas, I'm open to suggestions!

You're using the wrong introductory line. Try this:

"How many of you 18-20 year old ladies hate your parents and want to lash out?"

    That might work.

suppose you're thinkin' about a plate o' shrimp. Suddenly someone'll say, like, plate, or shrimp, or plate o' shrimp out of the blue, no explanation. No point in lookin' for one, either. It's all part of a cosmic unconciousness.

I will probably be asking a lot of questions during setup, because I would like to build my own RGB, but I don't really know where to begin.

I expect this to be pretty sock-knock-offing amazing.

My wallet hasn't been the same since wavelength collecting combined with eating up every orange HeNe I find. The multilines tend to be >$500 a piece...

    ***^^^^^^^^^^********

THAT reminds me of a homemade sign I saw in an old 'townie bar'

    MEN:
    NO SHIRT
    NO SHOES
    NO SERVICE
    __________

    WOMEN:
    NO SHIRT
    FREE BEER

    MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM

The beer light we have in our break room says "Free beer, tomorrow."
