    Default Printing Frames

Is there any way that I can print out all of my ild frames?
I want to print them out so that I have a sort of thumbnail index book with them all in, that way I dont have to open dozens of framelists just to find what I'm looking for.

I've talked with Fred about this several times. I agree that an ilda file previewer application would be very helpful.

I like to use the Alphalite software's preview pane to see what files are in a folder... And I know that you can run the Alphalite software at the same time with Mamba. But a separate, stand-alone previewer would be best.

I suppose you could always do a screen capture of the preview window for each file and then paste that into a document, then type in the file name below it. It would be a ton of work, but once you had it all done you could print out the file and you'd have your preview booklet...

I just had a cool idea.

If there was a bit of software that tied in with windows, so when you select display thumbnails in a particular directory, the thumbnail of the ilda is displayed, much like what happens with a picture file, or a acrobat file.. Im sure its possible, since adobe has managed to integrate it into acrobat..

    Just a thought..

I dont know how many people are running pangolin here...

But LSD2000 has a helpful clipart browser / search function built in that will offer some of what your looking for. Even allows you to search by category / frame notes / colors.

It wont do a printout(that i know of) but it does simplify the searching.

regarding the screen capture, you don't need to capture every frame, just the first frame of each show. that way you can remember what the rest of the show is. Then again, this would work mostly for graphics, as they are quite distinctive, whereas beam shows are more generic and difficult to recognize.

    Just a thought
Remember the future?, That'd today, as you imagined it yesterday.
