UK Meet ..anyone suggested this yet ?

Hi all

I have booked the hotel tonight ... im staying at the days inn above the NCP .... not bad at 39.95 a night .....

Mark, i have decided to drive up on saturday and stay both saturday and sunday ..... as i hate getting up early on a sunday morning to drive somewhere

if i want to come into the club on saturday night what is the dress code .... dont want to be barred cos im wearing jeans etc ....

as long as i dont have to wear me rubber suit and gimp mask cos my wife has put it in the dry cleaners at the moment

There's no dress code at the club , though most people wear the jeans and t-shirt thing, mostly of the black variety !. A few bits of metal stuck randomly through body parts would also help you fit in Gimp night is the first weekend of the month, so don't worry too much about your suit . The 11th will have, Top floor mix bag rock and metal , middle floor punk and ground floor classic rock !

I will be there myself, so if you want to meet up earlier, I will be at Firebug from about 9.00.

Anyone else interested in a Saturday shindig, , just turn up at Firebug , ask for Mark at the bar, and they will point me out ( I hope !! ).

Just few days to go , looking forward to playing with kit for full day and seeing everyone else kit ! Just moved it all to a new housing and not done final fit or tested it , so this should be interesting !

I am visiting alton towers for a few days before meet so i wont see these threads until after i am back !

Just a suggestion, but would it be useful to post a few simple directions to the club along with where to park, plus the full address and the postcode for those with SatNav's. I know the address has been posted earlier in the thread, but 16 pages is a lot of searching for those who missed it.

and parking!!! there must be parking at the club, im not leaving my car in a public car parking all day

The venue address is...

Venue - Leicester - Leicester Square , 170 Belgrave Gate , Leicester LE1 3XL

and the days-inn hotel is above the NCP car park and is around the corner ,,, and i guess as they are using it for their staying customers , it will need to be 24 hour with security.. ( i hope )

I have just dismantled the installation of my SP168 to load into the car ready for Sunday - am now ust preparing the special guest laser that Im bringing - its the most paranoid laser in the world - turn up on Sunday and you will find out what it is!
