Glad your in ! as it looks as though its going to be central Uk ...... IE - BLACKPOOL
so it looks like your organising it !
Seriously though , could be a good venue , cheap accomodation , plenty
to do if people are bringing family etc ........any ideas for a venue ? !

Overall though i think if there was a venue / area decided on and a date people
could work to it and might bring more people on board.

I will vote South to even the voting, but with enough notice I can get anywhere, and should add that I never need much of an excuse to go to Blackpool, as it is fully equipped with both roller coasters, and chips!

Blackpool .... would be a great place ....
the Pleasure beach has a show that runs twice a day ( hot ice show ) that utilises a whitelite krypton laser as part of the show
and also has some great lighting and special effects .... maybe if the ukmeet could be organised during the summer we
could include the show as part of the agenda

and i would gladly help organise it .... the only problem i have at the moment is that i will be out of the country
for parts of the year and my company have not given me ant definate dates that i will be away and for how long

but i will look into it .... unless people want it elswhere ?

I agree with Karl.
If it is in summer it gives a great excuse to bring the family too, the kids will love the pleasure beach, the show tickets are included with the pleasure beach tickets.

Maybe Karl can organise a discount for a party booking at the restaurant too.
