either venue on any august weekend day (except 4th) for me.
And I have confirmation that I will have a second in command with me.

Ah hell... Let's meet in the middle of the atlantic and shoot lasers at each other in a re-enactment of the battle of bunker hill, only on water! (Maybe this time General Prescott will win...)

I used to have a neighbor that was a British citizen. She still celebrated the 4th of July with us, but often needled us about it just to make fun. (Revolutionary war my ass, she'd say. You Yanks Revolted!) She still called it the American war of Independence rather than the American Revolutionary War, but otherwise she loved the fireworks. (She ended up becoming a US citizen, BTW.)

Back on topic, it looks like you guys have got all the pieces lined up. Hope you have a great time. Be sure to take lots of pictures (and video!) so we can see what you've been up to.

    Hi guys,

Sorry for the lack of input, been so busy,

I live about 5 miles from Mark (fluff) so will be attending this,

I can provide a couple of 1+ watt greens and a RGB giving around 3-4 watt,

    Hi all

    Just a quick update....

I've just spoken to 'Fluff' and it looks like we're definately on for the 12th August at his place.

So, i've pulled the message re: the meet in Wakefield as I don't want there to be any confusion or competition regarding the venue.

Thanks to all the folks who've PM'd me with their support, but the alternative venue was never meant to be competition. It was simply that the meet didn't seem to be getting anywhere and I offered an alternative that I was prepared to support financially and was prepared to organise.

Looking forward to meeting everyone on the 12th August - We just need some directions and a time

    Cheers

    Jem

Sounds interesting! Just got my PM and looked in on this thread. I;ve just been on a 6 day Stag do in Ibiza so bear with me........ Unfortunately I'm pretty much booked up for July and most of August, go a few weddings to go to, family stuff, holidays and work courses. My summer is very booked up! I'll keep an eye on the thread though. Good to see some enthusiasm!!!
