    Default Lasers, enclosure, gratings..

I have a bunch of stuff to sell here, but find it difficult to put a price on it. I paid somewhere in the region of £8000 for these parts, but am under no illusion that they are still worth this kind of money. For that reason (and I know you hate it), I have not given any asking prices. So please come to me with your best offer and we will work from there.

If anybody attending UKLEM wants to buy any of this stuff, I can bring it along and save you the shipping.

    So, here we go:

First up is a Kvant 600mw 640nm red laser. As you can see, it is happily putting out 650mw. This is 4 Opnext diodes combined like this ::, so nice tight beam. It comes with Kvant Driver and a nice little Traco Power supply. SOLD

Next up is a Kvant 500mw 445nm blue laser. This one is making 430mw, which it did on the day I bought it. The diode is a Nichia 500mw which apparently has a better quality beam than the C@sio diodes. I paid nearly £3000 for this and 6 months later the price crashed, DOH!!!! Comes with Kvant Driver and nice, not so little Traco Power supply...

To complete the set is a Lasever 600mw 532nm DPSS green laser. This is making 800mw. It is actually a CNI head with lasever driver and comes with power supply.

If you really want to go mad and have 4 lines, here is a nice CNI 200mw 473nm DPSS blue laser. This is making a tad over the 200mw and is a beautiful colour. Really extends the colour palette when combined with the 445. If you buy both, I'll chuck in a cube on an MM1. Comes with head and combined lab style PSU/Driver. The power lead is pretty short on this one and would probably need extending, but that's not a massive job... SOLD

For all you beam table lovers, here is a Poly 20 diffraction wheel on a mount with a stepper motor and driver. To steer your beam is an STP8 actuator on a mount. The mirror on the actuator is chipped along one edge, but it is still more than usable... SOLD

Finally something to stick this lot in... This is a large enclosure measuring 820mm x 290mm x 150mm or 210mm if you include the hanging bracket. It comes with 10 x 60mm fan with dust filters, power inlet with fuse and switch, keyswitch all connected to a relay for your eStop which would connect through the Ethercon at the back. Also at the back is an ILDA in and ILDA out. Inside is a 3mm plate to mount your electronics and a 10mm deck for the lasers, with a whopping great heatsink bolted to the bottom of it. The aperture is a camera lens protector AR coated and comes with a lens cap. This also has a custom built roadcase. The roadcase could do with a little TLC, as one of the handles has come off after someone tried to lift it with another 3 cases stacked on top, GRRRR... I have no idea what it would cost to ship this one, you know what shipping out of the UK is like...

I pm'd for the red already, sorry Brad...I will attest to the 473 combining very nicely with 445 as I do that in my projector. Don't think, just get it. If the deal works out for both, perhaps combining the shipping may help us both and we only live a few hours from each other, so shipping UPS from me to you or vice versa will be almost nothing.

Sounds like a plan. I have a few 473's already. And trust me... "don't think just get it", seems to be my middle name.

Hey Andy, that was the old RGY one... This is the much later version, but similar case... I think Lasermad had the old case in the end...
