Default New to laser, looking for advice

    hello everyone,

my name is jeroen, and im from the Netherlands.
i resently got a 1W RGB laser from a friend of mine wich supports ILDA. (picture 1)
now, the standard program of the laser is fun and all, but i wanne do the stuff myself ofcoarse!
so i got a ilda interface thingy. (picture 2) of unknown brand, make or model...

now the problem: when i plug it in to my computer, it cant find any drivers ofcoarse...
i have a 64 bit. and 32 bit computer. for the 32 bit i can find drivers, but i cant find any software that supports the ilda interface?

does anyone have some advice for me what the problem might be, and how i can solve it?

    greetings from the netherlands.

How much of this do you want to do yourself?

That is an early version of the iShow DAC. It doesn't work on 64bit windows, plain and simple. You need a different DAC.

once you identify that DAC you will know what soft you will need to use it.
It does not look at all that its the DAC you will need to use Pangolin soft.
Some body here will know which it is. I wonder how you got it w/o any info??

good luck to you sir and welcome to the forums....hak

    hello,

    thanks for your response.
we got the DAC from the same friend we got the laster from.
its probebly a ishow dac because he has a working copy of that software.

where can you get ishow without having to buy a new dac?
the only software sales i can find are including dac..

    thanks

you could try the etherdream+lsx bundle that's now available at http://www.ether-dream.com/ of course everything depends on your budget - depends if you want to save money with ishow or your nerves with something that actually works
