Thread: Noob help with ILDA cable

    Maplin only had female connectors, nearly bought two and then a convertor, the the convertor was as much again (will wait until they come in). Did consider just buying a single female connector and using a cable I already have, but is going to be a crap shoot as to which wire in connected where on the other end!

    Thanks again Whit-Light, may have to contact Martin and ask some questions!

    Thanks again for all the help, ended up making the cable myself from parts from maplins and several hours with a soldering iron! Not an easy job (the wires and connectors really are tiny and very close together!) but it works perfectly and am very happy with the results. Will post a video shortly.
