    Default High end emulators

i've seen lots of pics of the actual physical units, but none of the effects these were capable of producing in haze...

anyone happen to have some photos/footage of these puppies cutting sick ?

What sort of brightness would they equate to in a real laser ?

They were pretty weak. They used a 150w xenon short arc. And a pinhole aperture to to make the "beam" it was about 1 inch or so. It had crappy optics the color was from a color wheel. It had gm20's and big mirrors, crappy open loop amps. Blanking (actually dimmer) was from a good old stepper flag trick.

If you have 12 brand new out of the box with a good hazer and they are directly aimed at you they are sort of acceptable. But laser they are not.

Nothing can cut sick like a real laser
