The SE has a XD card, which I believe also contains some of the firmware, as the FB3 doesn't seem to operate without it. However neither QuickShow or BEYOND offer ways of storing frames to the XD card, so it's pretty much useless unless you use livequick. Still handy if you need to DMX the projector for whatever reason, just load up some basic shapes etc, but that's about it.

Your all missing the point! The advertised item is a "magic box"!

I assume it allows you to produce a rabbit from a shit box lazer projektor....

I didn't get any rabbits on my old scanpro20 set like 5 years ago 40% of it was weird Chinese characters I had to try quickly skip over when using DMX - people mostly didn't notice

    Hi guys,

We're checking this out right now. Yes, it could be a FB3-SE in a box. That's a distinct possibility. One thing that looks a bit suspicious is that it says "1000 in stock". Heck, maybe we should buy from them too <just kidding>.

Anyway, we're investigating this, and if it is piracy, they'll be hearing from our attorney. Some people believe there is no copyright laws in China but that's not true. A few years ago we went after another company who was infringing our IP in China. They were a bit slippery but once we were able to catch them in the act, our attorney shut them down...

And yes, our software, shows portal, and anything else would cease to operate on pirated hardware shortly after we discovered such...

    Best regards,

    William Benner

    Hilarious,

Massive billion dollar companies cannot stop pirating and governments cannot stop hacking.

The ONLY thing which has prevented Laser show software and DAC boards from being hacked or copied so far is the demand/interest is too low; but who knows, if enough free or cheap hardware is given away; maybe then that action will create the interest and bite the hand of the producer.

Regarding the SE version, I have one and itīs nice to be able to store frames and not tie a notebook to your laser if you are just projecting a few logos on a wall...

By the description of the "magic box" looks like it cannot be connected directly to a computer... wtf... would be nice to know the real capabilities and if it is real pangolin hardware.

BTW.. anyone can tell me what is the latest version of QS?

    Cheers
