    H Paul

    SELF BUILD ... ( sorry i wasnt shouting was I )

with this fantastic hobby .. the biggest problem is Regret ....

When you realise that what you have bought is a pile of dung ... and to upgrade costs even more

I would recomend that you buy a set of DT40 scanners from Jian
and the best Green CNI analogue laser you can aford from Dave and adrian here ....
But design the case ready to accept a Red laser from marconi and then a blue at a later stage ( when you have the cash )
its also best to do it in stages as you get to understand how it all works ....
But remember to plan it all in so you dont have to do any major rebuilds of the case, PSUs and connectors
    when you add components.

Planning will save you Lots n lots of money .... and i speak from experience ( wish i had planned better )

    all the best ... Karl

My F2000 and everyone I have ever had my hands on had (2) 150mw red diodes. Thats probably where the descrepancy in 300 and 400mw comes from

I noticed that, moreso than my earlier version. I will give my contact and BD and call and ask for some pictures from within their "lab" and tell them that they need to go back to the better dicros
