We tend to take possession of the hall on the Friday morning and I'm planning to be there by 10am to help out with setting up and with blacking out the windows.
Look forward to meet a new face.

Thanks Carl. Looking forward to meeting you too.
Would it be ok to turn up Friday to help? I can't do any major lifting as my back isn't too healthy but I can do other stuff like running cables etc.

Do we need to reserve floor space if we are sleeping at the venue or is it a free-for-all?

Any idea on the numbers that usually attend?

As far as set up goes, the more that help, the quicker it gets done... and then we can play

Floor space for sleeping seems to be on a 'grab yourself a bit of room' basis. There may be certain people who you may prefer not to sleep next to, but being a 'newbie' you may have to work that one out for yourself <just kidding, lol>

Numbers: It can vary over the weekend, some folks pop in for just a few hours, many stay for the duration. There'll probably be around 20 or so in and around the hall over the weekend, sometimes more, sometimes less.

Bets thing is to turn up with an open mind, settle in, chill out and enjoy yourself. You'll honestly have a brilliant time

Thanks Jem. A friend of mine would like to come along too if that's ok? He is a member here but hasn't been active for a while.

Having looked at the UKLEM meetings on youtube, I'm sure I'll have fun!

I just put in a letter to the CAA a few weeks back for a party this weekend, it took three days to reply with the all okay. So should be good.
