    Default Quickshow controller

Surprised none of you Quickshow fans have mentioned this yet... Looks pretty cool...

Yeah I saw it on Pangolin's Facebook page before Prolight.

Think its a one off though. I had a conversation a while ago with Bill about the APC 40 and whether or not there would be a custom controller at some point. I believe the position is that they had their Lasershow performer controller before, but it only sold a couple a year because of the cost so I don't think there are any plans for a new custom solution, hence the APC40 support.

Personally I think the future may lie in the LEAP device.

EDIT: Just watched the video Marc, as I posted above before I watched it, never seen it before. It sounds like I was wrong, it sounds as if for QS at least they might be about to release a custom solution. Very cool although I wonder what the pricing will be.

This is made by Dieter Hartzsch from DH Electronic (also reachable at www.pangolin-dealer.com).

Dieter has been involved with projects like this for more than 20 years, starting with the famous "Keydesk" and "Keydesk II" from Tarm in Germany.

Dieter has, in fact, produced several of these. Some people prefer a touch screen and sliders. Plus, it's hard to spill beer on a console that is mounted vertically in a rack ;-)

    Humm... I'd probably buy one.

Of course, you could wrap a wad of dog shit up in black gaffers tape, call it a new beam block and I'd probably buy it at the right price.

The beam blockers? Send me a PM and we can discuss.
