Keep on trying, DZ! I like to see the first one of post #683 in motion.

By the way. I have made an analogue synth myself a few years ago. Thinking about to abuse this on for my laser.

I have some osc's, envelopes and modulation sources there, everything to make abstracts. Must find a way to connect this to my scanners.......

Eurorack is cheap these days and most osc are sync able fir phase.
You can get a dual osc for 300.00 from Roland that does sine saw pulse with pwm. And accepts input for modulation and fm
Add to that adsr for envelop and you are well on your way. Would take 1 for xy. And 2 more for rgb. I'd say about 2k gets you a basic unit that can double as an audio synth. If you build the stuff from kits it can be a lot cheaper.

I think I finally figured out how to get good video so I'll see if I can get a couple vids put together. Anyone with a sound card dac, I can capture these as wave files if anyone wants them.

Kecked, I've been wanting to see someone make progress with something like this. I saw a video on FB a couple weeks ago were someone was experimenting with the idea. There's also a guy named Lars that's working on a product. Looking forward to seeing what they come up with.

    If you build from kits...
There doesn't seem to be much DIY in this industry anymore. In the past I offered the Z-5 pcb for anyone wanting to DIY and in 2 years I had 1 inquiry!

So jealous of that Z-5 output...

Here is my humble attempt at creating a software/digital abstract generator and controlling it with an Akai APC-40 MIDI controller

this is a single exposure. no compositing or photoshop tricks. all done with lasers.

In February 2016, NASA announced the LIGO experiment detected gravitational waves caused by the merger of two black holes. The accompanying illustration showed an accretion disk with a helix of energy emitting from the center. Since the LIGO detector is a giant laser interferometer, I decided it would be fitting to do my own illustration using lissajous and lumia.

suppose you're thinkin' about a plate o' shrimp. Suddenly someone'll say, like, plate, or shrimp, or plate o' shrimp out of the blue, no explanation. No point in lookin' for one, either. It's all part of a cosmic unconciousness.
