My red is almost finished and aside from showmaking my interest in building projectors and the likes has grown and grown.
I have aquired a lot more knowledge when it comes to diode types and their wavelengths and their setbacks and so forth (partually thanks to some PL members around here: Swamidog and astatic to name a few).
I myself think the 445nm diodes are cool because of their huge amount of power and low cost but am more fond of my 473nm blue because of its color *sadly not of its modulation because its DPSS after all*.
However I recently started hearing about the 447nm diodes (call me slow)
I rarely hear talks about 447nm diodes.
Does anyone have more information about these of which I can read up? Where are they being sold?
Another small question is how I would combine 405nm and 445nm or 447nm alongside with my 473nm module (So violet, light blue and darker blue)?
So far my solution to combining these wavelengths would be a PBS cube....however that would only allow me to combine 2 wavelengths and not 3.
I don't believe there exists dichro's with a really narrow range or do there?
Edit: my other thought would be: to knife edge the 405 and 447nm together and then combine these 2 with the 473nm module through a pbs.
