Introducing me!

Hi All,

Not sure if this is the best forum for this - but thought I would drop a post in and say hi!
I've inherited a Laserworld (yeah, I know) RGB unit + Quickshow and an FB3 to get myself started off in the world of laserwork

As I say, just saying hi to you all - and I'll see ya around in the forums!

Nothing wrong with inheriting something... it's when you go out and spend your hard cold cash on Laserworld that the "pity" begins!
(In my experience, they're not all awful, just usually marketed way over specifications.) At least the software/dac side of things is a great start.

Cheers - already had the thing to bits, if nothing else, I've got a case for upgrading... reckon the 1st thing I'm going to tackle is the galvos, 30k at 4deg on a good day with the wind behind it... used it at the weekend, had to drop the rate to about 10k for a useable (if flickering) image - ouch
