    I too want to know.

didn't measure but it fits 3mm mirrors just fine I tend to let my mirrors clip the edges on purpose to clean up the beam.

I'm sure you know that you're not making the beam any cleaner with clipping the edges of it, right..? well, maybe clipping out the aura only...

I haven't tried the 520 single mode but the green 120mw and the single mode reds and blues fit comfortably on 3mm mirrors when properly collimated with G2 lenses. I don't generally use the 3 element glass or acrylic, but I suspect you are still fine with 3mm mirrors.

I posted pictures of the beams at the collimator exit for the 3-element glass lens for all three diodes in my collimation thread. Don't have the url handy on the phone, but it's in the technical discussion forum. They average about 5mm x a little less than 1mm out of the glass.

Pretty close. Maybe not as pencil thin but damn near. If I had it to do all over again, I would have gotten the 120mW green diodes.

Hello, I've been searching and asking around but so far, no answers. Does anyone know what the diode chip aperture is on each of these R,G and B diodes? 5um? I'm hoping they are somewhere about that size.

    Thanks!

    L57-
PM your email address to me and I will send you the spec sheets for all 3 diodes- maybe they will help. I'd post them, but I'm not too good at getting stuff up on this site.
