    Default A Revelation!!

It's always so exciting to actually learn something new. Thank you Steve Milani! You don't even know what you did but, I'm in the process of trying to organize, clean up and test shows for a whole host of platforms for SELEM and finally am tackling the mysteries of all these random files I've snatched of Steve's from the ftp site and other threads over the past couple years. Had NO idea how to play them or set up and save ILDA files into Quickshow so they could be played properly and have just finished converting about 10 of his shows thanks to a little "Read Me" file that I paid enough attention to until it made sense. I finally see what everyone is talking about with respect to how nice your shows are.

And... have learned a whole lot more about Quickshow in the process. A good day.

nicely done, and kudos to steve for providing ilda format shows and documentation! i've imported a number of his shows into LSX and they work like a champ.

    hooray for universal standards.

suppose you're thinkin' about a plate o' shrimp. Suddenly someone'll say, like, plate, or shrimp, or plate o' shrimp out of the blue, no explanation. No point in lookin' for one, either. It's all part of a cosmic unconciousness.

    Hallo mates!

@ Beadfo69 and Swamidog also...Thanks for kudos guys...

I suppose Bradfo is talking about an "old" series of (23) shows I uploaded into PL ftp server a couple of years ago...

Yeah... at that time I still had available the option "ilda export" into my laser software (just for record, was not QS...). I made all of them by this software.

    Today no more

His programmer has locked since long time this options because "copiryght" issues. He want NOT to see anymore over internet any of shows, originally made by his software, exported to ILDA and then loaded and converted to other format to be used by others software. And (he told me, his words) the worst thing is: to see a YOUR laser show "camouflaged" like it were created by you (with your software)...
Well... Even if this is a sad thing for all of us, I told him: "OK... Sorry to hear this, but...I respect your decision". This is because I honestly understand what his issue is. He spent a lot of money, time and his genius to create an own lasersoftware.
Now he's waiting for the good feedback (earn the right money from his creative and honest work).
    Well...
I don't know if this is a good reason or not. I am not a judge. The only thing I (sadly) know is: business matters.
But this is not a novelty...
Business are busines all over the world.

Everyone is free to do everything likes.
Some people sells... Some people shares for free...

    I choosen to share

    Sorry for this little "out-topic"

Yes, those are the ones I was referring to and I think you created them with Laserworld Showeditor 2010 (I just got Showeditor 2009 a few weeks ago.) And your read me file was what finally allowed me to figure out inporting them into Quickshow and sucessfully running and testing each one. Looking forward to running them on a projector (possibly tonight.)

Being a bit addicted to collecting content, and using several computers and external hard drives, it's been quite the chore matching everything with the correct software, finding the correct music and then actually getting them to play properly but, there is light at the end of the tunnel and it is actually getting organized.
