Ain't No Party Like a Detroit Party

Every year on Memorial Day Weekend, Detroit hosts a little party known as Movement (previously the Detroit Electronic Music Festival), and every year I provide some combination of lighting & special effects to some of the many after parties. This year I had the opportunity to work in one of Detroit's most prestigious concert venues, The Fillmore, where I provided the cryo & an effect that I had not previously used: FEATHERS!!! I also had a chance to meet another forum member, LELS, who provided the AWESOME laser component of the show. The show in question was the Dirty Bird Players, featuring artists from Claude Vonstroke's label, Dirtybird (which explains the feathers).
