    Question Quickshow general licence question

I wondered how many computers that Pangolin Quickshow can be run on?

I have my laptop at home but would like to use a touchscreen pc i have for when out with it?

Not sure how the licence file works and realise there are issues with piracy, etc.

once you connect the FB3 or LD2000 interface a license file is created on any computer that you use.
once you have a license file on the computer you can create edit and save shows on that computer even without interface,
output to laser is offcourse only possible with a connected interface

You do however have to connect your interface (FB3 / QM2000) every 2 weeks (14 days).

Ah, that makes sense, I guess I would have found that out when the ordered software arrives but wanted to make sure before I finished working on the touchscreen computer.

And what happens if you don't? Does it plant an inherent bug in the system and prevent any decent shows ever being played from that computer!

Nope the software just won't start until you do. You just bring up a dialogue box telling you to connect it and then the software shuts down until the next attempt.

When you exit when its working, it now reminds you how many days you have left before you need to reconnect it.

At least that's what happens in Beyond. I presume it will be rolled out over QS as well.
