    Default Lasershow Gig Footage/Pictures

Thought it would be cool to have a thread where people post footage or photos of public shows they've done...

Some footage from the weekend's show... second show for the full colour yay...

Although I missed most of it Thanks to Dave for doing 95% of the hard work on this one.

Anyway, we had 4 lasers in action, 2 x 150mw's green, 1 x ~1 watt full colour, and 1 x 350mw green laser shooting at a mirror ball cluster that was caked with nightclub fuzz, and hence looked like poopy. Controlled by LivePro, 2 USB flashback3's, and 1 QM2000, running off 3 computers.

Sweeet! I love the symetrical beams and the full color looks great! Was the full color done with solid state?

    Thanks..

    Yep, solid state RGB combo...

    Read out about it here

One laser looks cool. Symmetrical pairs looks so much better...

    It's pretty good Adrian.
    The music was crap though.
Is that 7 colour or full analogue?
It's also the look that I am aiming for.

    aijii:

Great idea! And good timing too, since I just attended a show and managed to get some decent pictures (hosted here on PL, in the gallery) of the event, and even some videos of the event as well. (Please don't pick on me for my lame-ass camera. It's the best I could come up with on short notice.)

George was one of the 4 DJ's for the event, and he's damn good! We had a blast... (Wish I had sound to go with the video so you could see how much fun it really was.) Anyway, the pictures show his new solid state RGB projector in action. (1.7 watts in that small venue - it totally rocked!)

Bear in mind that the pictures were (for the most part) taken from a position behind and above the projector, so the beams aren't nearly as visible in the pics as they were in real life. (We also had problems with the fog machine... Too damn small for the monsterous air handler they had in the place!)

This show wasn't anywhere near as elaborate a setup as the video you posted, but it was fun to watch (and control) nonetheless. We really had a high-energy crowd too, which is always a plus. (When was the last time you heard a crowd of 400+ people *cheering* for a local DJ? Yeah, that's the sort of crowd we had!)

Damn - I'm so totally hooked now. I think I know what it's like to be addicted to heroin now. All I can think about is when I can go to another show. (And where I can get the money I need to add red and blue to my projector!) Sigh...

    Wow!

Obviously the show looked a lot better from the floor than it did from where I was sitting! Damn - those beams were beautiful. (Now I wish I had gone down there at least once to see it.) Very cool video George!

It is very impressive, I can't wait to build my DACs so that I can controll my two projectors on the outside of my rig.
