    Question Member status

Hi all, whilst I get the status of us members (i.e. junior member, member, senior member) although am not sure at which point they change, I am wondering how some members seem to have a more elaborate seemingly personalised one?

    Hi Stevi

As you have found out it clicks over to member at 30posts and it will go to senior at 100.

To edit it click on the forum tab up the top called forum actions. In the pull down menu choose edit profile.

    Good luck
    Kit

You forgot the most important part: you need to be a paying subscriber :P
Changing your forum title is one of the extra privileges you get when you choose to support the forum. I believe others are extra storage space for PM's and I heard rumours about a secret subforum where paying members can act all smug :P

Oh, I didn't know that. Hmm where is this smug vip area ? damn! You mean I could have been throwing my weight around being all smug all this time? Ordering people around telling them to fetch me a drink....

You tell me if there is one, I just heard rumours...
Or maybe there is one but you just aren't allowed to tell anyone! :P

Haha, I haven't gone looking for it if there is one. Whether its at a concert or a club, I usually find the most fun is in the non-VIP section. VIP areas are often full of SIP.

I'm not very forum savvy. This is my first forum.
My biggest achievement was figuring out how to subscribe to a thread.

Ill sneak some free Champagne over the fence if I find any

Cheers! I'll be at the laser control deck

Do I dare ask what SIP stands for? :P

Self important people.... Oow I'm being nasty. There are usually just as many friendly people there too.

Ah, I see, so I bung in a few quid and in return I can hang out with the 'big-boys', get invited to the secret area, look down on other lesser members and chat about VERY secret stuff, this all sounds a little too familiar! ;-) ...... where do i sign?

Seriously though, if there is a way to 'bung a few quid' I would happily chip in, even for the information I have already gained! I haven't even got my new laser yet.....!

Under 'settings', go to 'paid subscriptions', then follow the instructions.
