the reason i guessed right, is because the same thing happened to me with 2 brand new Laserwave units.

Ya SaltyRobot was right, except the switch is inside a Meanwell PSU and you have to look through a tiny vent hole to see it.

The reason I posted was in case someone else had the same kind of issues with a brand new laser not to just send it back thinking it was faulty.

They all almost went back to China until I said something about "what power do they use in China?" to Rick and his reply was "no fucking way..." and checked and ya they were all set to 230v.

For what its worth, I bought a 2W Laserwave several months ago from Winni and it was delivered with a 230 V power supply (not selectable). She never asked for a voltage preference and I did not know to ask. This DID require a return to China.

i just bought one from laserwave myself, and having learned my lesson from before,
    i specifically asked for a 110 P.S.
although, i fid luck out with the first units, being voltage selectable.
But on the new OEM style modules, you better get it right the first time...
(fixed input voltage) requires a return trip to chinatown.

    Yay I guessed right.

OK so which one of the lasers do I get? This was the prize for answering correctly right?

It takes two to make it out of sight! Wait, be sure to wear your goggles!
