Mine arrived on Tuesday, and they're really nice. I posted pictures in another thread, but here they are again.
The pattern on the left is from the new Pluto II with the 520 nm green and the 463 nm blue. The one on the right is from an older Pluto II with 532 nm green and 445 nm blue. I think the difference is pretty obvious, even in a picture. In real life, the difference is more striking.
Note that the patterns are not identical, the left side is showing the end of the lines and the right side is showing the beginning of the same lines. Since the line fades from bright to dark as you move from left to right, it's really not a fair comparison. Nonetheless, you get the idea.
I will take some more pictures (and maybe some video) this weekend when I have more time. I'll also re-balance the color palette for these new units. (These pictures were taken using the color palette for the older Pluto's .)

Cant wait to see more pics and videos.![]()
The difference is really striking. Granted, I've always been picky about color, and I've posted several times about how much I prefer 473 nm blue to the darker 445 nm blue. But this is an ideal compromise in my opinion.
Also, the 520 green is really nice. I didn't think it would make much difference, but it really does! 532 nm green is actually a bit yellow looking, but you'll never know just how much until you see it side-by-side with 520 nm.
I should have time this weekend to do some more tests. Really looking forward to playing with them though. They look great!

would you say, 1 watt of 520nm is brighter than 1 watt of 532nm?
been wondering about that, but i dont have any 520's to compare side by side....

Bought a BeamZ R/G DMX box one and a half year ago, and got bit at once. Pretty colors, but no control. I did wonder how to do more, and what it would take. Started reading and stumbled upon this forum. 18 month later, I have build 5pcs RGB`s, one 1,5 watt 532 and a 3 watt 445 with PBS. Also have bought 3 more Ready made lasers from Goldenstar. The PlutoII will be the most expensive though. I guess my wife will go ballistic if buy more stuff, but it all comes down to price, and what time i have on my hands.
I will look you up at FB, but you can always ad me to the friendslist here at PL as well.
Nice to other vikings here at PL! :-)

No, actually I'd say that the 532 appears brighter. Maybe 10 to 15% or so... I'm estimating based on my memory of last night when I ran a few shows side-by-side, but the 532 nm green definitely looked brighter.
I'll do some more testing this weekend to firm this up.

Jeez I want one of these so hard! Perhaps next year at the next unprecedented sale I'll get two to make up for it![]()
