1 for me.

Personally I only use ILDA, but I like to still have DMX on there, as some of my customers use it.
1. Only use ILDA control
1 - Only ILDA Control
Having some smarts so the projector does not do something silly or dangerous when plugged in is good.
1. For me since DMX control is usually quite limited (no control over scan speed, a small collection of boring frames, TTL only, poor performance, etc.).
It would be nice to have DMX control that did things like play custom .ILD files from a show card - and do a good job of playing the content. Adding features like Beam Attenuation Mapping would be nice as well. There should never be an "Auto" mode and loss of DMX signal or zero value should turn off laser immediately.
This said, for most user's safety, I think ILDA-only should always be an option for your customers.

"Help, help, I'm being repressed!"
Only ILDA control on any of your more professional, higher powered projectors.
If you are aiming at the lower end DJ market then DMX is still probably fine. Say for example if the laser is under a watt and like $600 or something but, once you start getting into the higher powers and projectors aimed at the more "pro" level laserists then ILDA all the way. That may not hold true around the rest of the world though but, in all honestly, I think more powerful projectors should really only have control from proper software and via an ILDA connection.
ILDA only with ANALOG modulation, X&Y Invert switches AND a proper shutter like the Ledex solution from the other PLUTO thread.
No DMX, No SD card, No touchscreen.

^ If we're getting the chance to voice desires... independent rotary gain controls for R,G, and B.
(Oh...and a more substantial key switch. I had a Pluto key break off in the lock and need pliers to turn it on and off. )
(only for the larger projectors, 3+ watts)

(for small projectors)
I want to have DMX so that I can slave lots of projectors and use DMX to add effects like wave along projectors.
