An 808 pump diode with the FAC lens built in makes life so much easier I think; I had good luck with one of those in the 1st experiment, but it just wasn't powerful enough. There's quite a few 4-5 Watters on fleabay, I saw a 10W too .. The 10 Watter was expensive but if it looks like a good one I may roll the dice .. 10W would give me some room to play, and maybe find the xtal breaking point .. if I really want to do that .. :/ Okay.. I'm gonna go re-start the MCA thread I guess .. goodbye spare moneyz .. ehhh ...
