Unless you say otherwise, I'll follow through with the order in a day or two!

    Andrew,

Go ahead and process the order for the Etherdream. I PMed you the order number.

I will need you to cancel the order for the multibus that is outstanding. I placed the order after the Etherdream order thinking that Etherdream was out of stock. If need be I can PM that order number.

pangolin continues to not release the mythical FB3 SDK.
Thats because the job can now be handled by the Beyond SDK which does exist (or so I have been told by Bill on more than 1 occassion)

I think it just needs someone with the intent and skill to contact Bill about it. He's been quite forthcoming with information to me about it, and even offered to get me started, but I'm a database guy. I see no reason why it should be any different for anyone else.

You are using Bonetti's defense against me, ah?

I thought it fitting, considering the rocky terrain.

i'm sure the FB3 SDK also exists... but exists != released. if it's available for users and third party developers, that's great.

suppose you're thinkin' about a plate o' shrimp. Suddenly someone'll say, like, plate, or shrimp, or plate o' shrimp out of the blue, no explanation. No point in lookin' for one, either. It's all part of a cosmic unconciousness.

I was told by Bill that the Beyond SDK handled all of the complex translation and stuff to make the image optimized, so this was the preferred route to address the FB3 from other apps.
I expect the FB3 SDK became the Beyond SDK at some point of evolution

AFAIK its all there now, people just need to contact Bill for it. This news is a few months old now, so it may be even further advanced.

I will go out on a limb and say that I highly doubt that the Beyond SDK will be the answer for DAC integration with LSX or my Spaghetti or other packages. Bill would not even grant me access to the current LD2000 SDK because 1) I don't own a QM2000 and 2) their licensing strictly prohibits using the SDK for the creation of a competing product. Bill told me that if I want to create some unique product (eg some game or something new like a laserharp or whatever) that it would be permissible, but not for a laser show package. I didn't even want to use his frame manipulation API. I just wanted to send data to the DAC. He knows that Spaghetti is no threat to Pangolin. If anything, it would just be another way for Pangolin users to experience additional content. Bill, if you are reading this, I ask that you reconsider and let me use the SDK for adding support to Spaghetti. Several Pangolin users have asked me for it. Same goes for the Beyond SDK if it exists for FB3. I'll even buy the hardware for testing if that is required.

so it's not really a Software Development Kit but rather Sandbox Development Kit, as long as you play nicely you can use it but thou shall not get too creative

DAC research/updates are on hold at all companys this year. It has been demanded from higher powers that we all work on designing our own laser power meters. After everyone has LPM's DAC work can start again.
