    Default Old Yellow Lasers

Although the focus of my laser collection is the really old stuff from the '60s and '70s, it also includes firsts of laser types and a few applications. One type is handheld lasers and pointers. Another way to identify is by the wavelength. I've noticed a big hole in the wavelength list represented in my collection in the yellow, so I'm looking to fill the void with the earliest examples of those lasers I can find.

The wavelengths I'm looking for are 577, 589, and 594nm. If anyone here has one of these lasers available, please let me know. If you know when they were introduced commercially and by who, that would help a lot too. In addition, I'm looking for the oldest air cooled Ar Ion laser I can find, and a Cu Vapor laser too.

a yellow pointer using SFM would be really nice as they are told to cycle colors as the KTP heats to SFM matching temperature... this is kind of a graal for a collector

Kodak had some heNe pointers made with really short MG yellow tubes but I don't have one Bob; if you find two sell one to Sam and I OK?

I do have an ols SP 162 Argon laser with the glass epoxy sealed tube and heavy low area heat sink. This is not the same as the 162A hard sealed glass tube but looks nearly identical save the heat sink. But the laser works so you probably are not intereeted... It is tunable with the full Brewster prism; not litthrow. Phil

Pics? I'd actually like to have a working air cooled Argon. Be nice to have a full rainbow of colors to show.
