    Question Logo Creation

I'm looking into drawing a business logo with Quickshow, the logo is this:

I don't want to use QuickTrace to draw as it is very complicated and the outside rings kinda owe themselves to being drawn by an animation or something.... So, is there a way to draw the random coloured rings, create a cue and then just add the simple text in afterwards? It's the random rings I am having trouble with?

And I reckon it's gonna be a challenge for any scanners, so maybe a lot fewer circles than the actual logo?

    Ideas please??

are you restricted to quickshow? LSX has some random features that would lend itself very well for drawing with random colors/positions.

suppose you're thinkin' about a plate o' shrimp. Suddenly someone'll say, like, plate, or shrimp, or plate o' shrimp out of the blue, no explanation. No point in lookin' for one, either. It's all part of a cosmic unconciousness.

You might get something like this with the Quickshow abstract editor.

I can't try it right now, but play with adding a couple of key>roto clones, try adding modulators, or XY oscillator with low amplitude.
Play with the order of the roto clones and modulators/oscillators.
And add some color effect, of course.

Ah, another little trick I have learned with Quickshow! Cheers Bill. I have been playing with it by reducing the points and still getting some okay circles but the scanners are struggling with numerous circles and then text...

Am wondering, is there a way to draw a circle but on the next time round drawing it, it draws it in a different place - like a spirograph ( I hope that makes sense, it is late here.)

I did think of LSX after seeing some of the stuff you guys have done with it, but alas I don't have it.......... yet!
