    Hot in the UK atm.

Been up at 32C for over a week. No end in sight.

I want to go swimming in the sea also. Just a 350 mile round trip to my favourite spot so with Uk fuel at just over £6 a gallon ($9), it isn't going to happen as that's a 14 hour and £60 ($90) round trip!

We're in day five in the high 90's. (F) And, I'm sure people out west are laughing and how the easterners are complaining about the heat and it being all over the news. I can't imagne the 110's they've recently had. Funny thing is, down south where it's normally hot, they've struggled to get to normal temperatures.

Oh - and at least gas is only $3.40 per gallon. Dude... if it were $9 per gallon, this country would come to a screeching halt.

I take train for going to work each day, and at the end of the day I leave my office which is at 21C to get in the street at 30C then in the overheated train at 35C and finally in my car sun-heated at 40C, which drops to 30C again once I have made a couple kms window open... and finally I come home raging about how I ripped apart my 22m³ intex pool last year because it was too heavier to maintain...

I've lived in AZ and I would take the 110 AZ heat over the 95 with 100% humidity any day. At least in AZ you can sit in the shade with a nice breeze and its not too bad.

Didn't it hit 56°c (134 °F) in Death Valley last week. Hottest temperature ever recorded. That makes everywhere else seem almost baltic by comparison

Should not complain about 24C i Oslo Norway then. This is a little hot for me, but I should not complain as we finally have had some days with nice weather.

Yes same here. Little sweaty when building modules and projectors but its worth it in the end with 5.5 watt GB photons flying arround your ears

Same here, in the middle of Europe. Perfect weather, around 30-32°C but not too much humidity so quite pleasant.

The only downside is that "good weather" and "laser work to do" don't really go together, too difficult to stay inside working after daywork when a fresh beer is waiting on the balcony
