beamshot of a 5.7 watt. For the record i burned the wall paper on 26 meter. Pencil thin beam so perfect for graphics and more bright then others. Picture of the pencil taken on 13 meter distance

The projector hood is open so you have a faint beam from the dichro. Its 2.5 watt hitting the dichro so you have some going directly true the dichro. 3% loss from a dichro means 75mw of green + the blue is passing the green dichro aswell. So its the losses from blue and green pass the dichro.

    Gotcha. Thx!

Also nice to have a side-by-side with some ballpark power values for visual comparison!

is that at full powers to RGB? what's the power output for balanced white?

suppose you're thinkin' about a plate o' shrimp. Suddenly someone'll say, like, plate, or shrimp, or plate o' shrimp out of the blue, no explanation. No point in lookin' for one, either. It's all part of a cosmic unconciousness.

Just for the record comparing price versus power is not a good comparison. Beamquality, quallity of the build, features is also a factor.

These are dustfree, waterproof and 0.65mrd and complient with EU regulations.

Its white at full power. But some people say it should be a little pinkish white. If you like pinkish white i would say 5 watt. Its damn bright because of the extreme low divergence so its more bright then another brand. I like pencil thin beams since its the best for graphics and gives the most brightness.
